Shell lets marine warranty survey contract for Orca
Shell plc has let a marine warranty survey (MWS) contract to New Wave Offshore Energy for the Orca Project in the pre-salt Santos basin, offshore Brazil.
The marine warranty services contract encompasses risk management and safety oversight support for the project, estimated to have recoverable resource volumes of about 370 million bbl.
The contract’s scope of work involves marine warranty services across multiple phases of the project, including vessel surveys, engineering review, and oversight of transportation and installation (T&I) operations.
The Orca gas-condensate project is a unitized development covering the BM-S-54 concession contract and the South Orca production sharing contract (PSC).
