Tullow begins drilling campaign offshore Ghana

Tullow Oil PLC has begun drilling at Jubilee field, launching a multi-year, multi-well drilling campaign offshore Ghana.

Maersk Venturer, contracted for 4 years, will drill four wells in 2021—two Jubilee production wells, one Jubilee water injector well, and one TEN field gas injector well (OGJ Online, Feb. 4, 2021).

The Ghana portfolio has a large resource base with extensive infrastructure already in place.
