Lundin to drill North Sea well near Solveig discovery

Lundin Energy Norway AS received a drilling permit from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for well 16/4-12  in the North Sea.

The exploration well, the first to be drilled in PL 981, will be drilled in the northern part of Block 16/4 about 1 km west of the 16/4-6 S Solveig oil discovery by the West Bollsta drilling facility after it concludes drilling of wildcat 7221/4-1 in PL 609.

Lundin Energy Norway is operator (60%) with partner Aker BP ASA (40%).
