SDX starts South Disouq gas, condensate flow

SDX Energy has started production of gas and condensate from the South Disouq concession in Egypt. Four discovery wells are producing to a central processing capacity, with total average flow of 23 MMscfd of gas and 120 b/d of condensate.

Testing continues. The company expects production to increase gradually to a targeted plateau rate of 50 MMscfd of gas-equivalent in the first quarter of 2020.

SDX operates the concession with a 55% interest. IPR Energy Resources Ltd., Irving, Tex., holds 45%.
