Aker BP granted permit to drill North Sea wildcat

Aker BP has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in the North Sea.

Aker BP ASA has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill wildcat well 34/6-7 S in North Sea production license 932.

The well will be drilled by the Deepwea Nordkapp semisubmersible rig in June.

Aker BP is operator of the license with 40% interest. Partners are Equinor Energy AS (40%) and Vår Energi ASA (20%).
