Aker BP granted North Sea drilling permit

Aker BP ASA has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for appraisal well 25/2-24 B in North Sea production license 873.

Aker BP ASA has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for appraisal well 25/2-24 B in North Sea production license 873.

The exploration well will be drilled in May by the Scarabeo 8 semi-submersible drilling rig.

Aker BP is operator with 47.7% interest. Partners are Equinor Energy AS (40%) and LOTOS Exploration and Production Norge AS (12.3%).
