Continental Resources Inc., Oklahoma City, has promoted Doug Lawler to president and chief operating officer.
Lawler joined the operator in February as chief operating officer and executive vice-president following three decades in the oil and gas industry (OGJ Online, Jan. 18, 2022). Prior to joining Continental Resources, Lawler was president and chief executive officer of Chesapeake Energy from 2013 to 2021 (OGJ Online, Apr. 27, 2021).
