Southwestern Energy Co. has named Carl Giesler Jr. as executive vice-president and chief financial officer. He joins the company July 19. He succeeds Michael Hancock, who has served as chief financial officer on an interim basis, and will continue as vice-president, finance, and treasurer.
Giesler has more than 25 years of experience serving in various oil and gas finance, investing, and public company executive officer roles, including most recently at SandRidge Energy Inc. (OGJ Online, July 13, 2021).
