Distinction Energy appoints new executive officers
Distinction Energy Corp., Calgary, made changes to its executive leadership, effective Apr. 5.
Patrick Carlson has been appointed president and chief executive officer, succeeding Timothy Schneider, who has resigned. Carlson has over 45 years of experience in oil and gas, and has built four companies, including Seven Generations.
Jakub Brogowski has been appointed chief financial officer, succeeding Peter Eric Gallie, who has resigned. Brogowski has 18 years of experience across corporate executive leadership, investment banking and advisory in oil and gas industry including 8 years of investment banking advisory experience.
Glen Nevokshonoff has been appointed chief operating officer. Nevokshonoff has over 20 years of experience as a geologist including serving as chief operating officer of Seven Generations.
Marcus Archer has been appointed corporate secretary, succeeding Josef Hocher, who has resigned. Archer has over 20 years’ experience practicing corporate finance, M&A, and general corporate law and has spent his entire career at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP and its predecessor.
Distinction Energy is a junior oil and gas company focused on liquids-rich natural gas produced primarily from the Montney formation.
