EOG Resources Inc. has promoted Ezra Y. Yacob to president, effective immediately. Since December 2017, Yacob has held the position of executive vice-president of exploration and production, responsible for EOG's Fort Worth, Artesia, and international operating areas (OGJ Online, Jan. 8, 2018).
Yacob joined EOG in 2005. Prior to the executive vice-president role, Yacob served as vice-president and general manager of the company's Midland operations. Before joining EOG, he worked for the Minerals Division at the United States Geological Survey.
