EOG Resources promotes Leitzell to executive vice-president

EOG Resources Inc. has promoted Jeffrey R. Leitzell to executive vice-president, exploration and production, joining the executive management team effective immediately.

Leitzell previously served as vice-president and general manager of EOG's Midland, Tex., office since December 2017, responsible for operations in the Delaware basin. In his new role, he will be responsible for EOG's Midland, Denver, and Artesia operating areas.

Leitzell has 17 years of industry experience and almost 13 years of service with EOG.
