MARKET WATCH: NYMEX, Brent crude prices fall

Crude oil futures prices in New York and London fell Oct. 21. Light, sweet crude oil prices on the New York Mercantile Exchange for November fell 47¢ to $53.31/bbl while Brent crude for December declined 46¢ to $58.96/bbl.

Crude oil futures prices in New York and London fell Oct. 21.

Light, sweet crude oil prices on the New York Mercantile Exchange for November fell 47¢ to $53.31/bbl on Oct. 21 while the December contract declined 36¢ to $53.51/bbl.

The November natural gas price fell 8.2¢ to reach a rounded $2.24/MMbtu on Oct. 21. The December contract also was down, decreasing 7.6¢ to a rounded $2.44/MMbtu.

Ultralow-sulfur diesel for November fell a fraction of a penny to settle at a rounded $1.94/gal.

The NYMEX reformulated gasoline blendstock for November lost a rounded 1.6¢ on Oct. 21 to reach a rounded $1.61/gal.

Brent crude for December declined 46¢ to $58.96/bbl. The January contract was down 41¢ to settle at $58.68/bbl.

Gas oil for November fell $7.25 to $582/tonne on Oct. 21.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ basket of crudes on Oct. 21 was down 56¢ to $59.50/bbl.
