Bill Higgs has been named chief executive officer and member of the board of Genel Energy PLC, London.
Higgs has been chief operating officer since October 2017. He earlier was COO of Ophir Energy PLC and CEO of Mediterranean Oil & Gas after working 23 years at Chevron Corp.
He succeeds Murat Ozgul, who remains with Genel as a special adviser to the board.
