Petrobras Netherlands BV (Petrobras) signed a contract extension with Prosafe for the Safe Notos semisubmersible vessel for safety and maintenance support, offshore Brazil.
Petrobras Netherlands BV (Petrobras) signed a contract extension with Prosafe for the Safe Notos semisubmersible vessel for safety and maintenance support, offshore Brazil. Total value of the contract including extension is about $28.7 million, the service provider said.
The dynamically positioned Safe Notos harsh environment semisubmersible can accommodate up to 500 people and provides Petrobras with 300 tonne lift capability.
The original 3 year, 222-day contract was set to complete in July 2020, but the extension extends operations to mid-November 2021.
