Equinor granted Barents Sea drilling permit

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a drilling permit for wellbore 7018/5-2 in production license (PL) 1236 by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate.

The exploration well will be drilled by the COSL Prospector in the Barents Sea.

Equinor is operator of PL 1236 (50%) with partners Vår Energi ASA (30%) and Petoro AS (20%).
