Equinor granted permit for North Sea drilling

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill a well in production license (PL) 090 HS in the North Sea.

Well 35/11-32 S will be drilled by the COSL Innovator semisubmersible drilling rig. Drilling is expected to begin in December.

Equinor is operator at PL 090 (60%) with partners INPEX Idemitsu Norge AS (20%) and Vår Energi ASA (20%).
