Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill an exploration well in the North Sea.
Well 15/8-3 S will be drilled in September 2025 in production license 1137 by the Deepsea Atlantic semisubmersible drilling rig.
Equinor is operator of the license in a 50-50 partnership with ORLEN Upstream Norway AS.
