Equinor granted Brokk drilling permit

Equinor Energy has been granted a drilling permit for appraisal wells 15/3-13 S and A in the Brokk prospect in the North Sea.

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) for appraisal wells 15/3-13 S and A in the Brokk prospect in North Sea production licenses 025 and 187.

The exploration well will be drilled by the Deepsea Stavanger semi-submersible mobile drilling rig in 120 m of water.

Equinor is operator of PL 025 and PL 187 (36%) with partners OMV (Norge) AS (24%), Repsol Norge AS (15%), and Vår Energi Norge AS (25%).
