Neptune Energy granted North Sea drilling permit

Neptune Energy Norge AS has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for production license 882 in the North Sea.

Wells 34/4-15 S and 34/4-15 A, the first and second exploration wells to be drilled in the license, will be drilled about 10 km northwest of Snorre field from Odjfell Drilling’s Deepsea Yantai semisubmersible drilling rig following its conclusion of the drilling of production wells on Duva field.

The area in the license consists of parts of Blocks 33/6 and 34/4.

Neptune Energy is operator of the license with 40% interest. Partners are Concedo ASA 20%, Petrolia NOCO AS 20%, and Idemitsu Petroleum Norge AS 20%.
