Neptune Energy granted North Sea drilling permit

Neptune Energy has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for drilling in the North Sea.

Neptune Energy Norge AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) for exploration well 35/6-4 A in production license 929 in the North Sea.

The well will be drilled by the Deepsea Yantai semisubmersible drilling rig.

Neptune Energy is operator of the license with 40% interest. Partners are Panion Energy AS (20%), Wintershall Dea Norge AS (20%), Aker BP ASA (10%) and DNO Norge AS (10%).
