Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to drill in North Sea production license 043 FS.
Equinor will drill exploration well 30/4-4 with the Transocean Spitsbergen semisubmersible drilling rig beginning in September 2023.
Equinor is operator of the license with 51% interest. Partners are Petoro AS (30%), and Sval Energi AS (19%).
