Aker BP granted permit to drill North Sea well

Aker BP ASA has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate (NOD) to drill in the North Sea. 

Exploration well 25/1-14 will be drilled in production license 873 B by Odfjell Drilling AS’s Deepsea Stavanger semisubmersible beginning this month, according to NOD data. 

Aker BP is operator of the license with 47.7% interest. Partners are Equinor Energy AS (40%) and ORLEN Upstream Norway AS (12.3%).
