Aker BP granted North Sea drilling permit

Aker BP ASA has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to drill in the North Sea.

Exploration well 25/10-17 S (Gjegnalunden prospect) will be drilled in production license 867 B, Block 25/10 by the Scarabeo 8 semisubmersible drilling rig in water dept of 116 m.

Aker BP is operator of the license with 80% interest. Lime Petroleum AS holds the remaining 20%.
