MARKET WATCH: Crude oil benchmarks end the week with a gain

The price for light, sweet crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange for December was up 95¢ to $57.72/bbl on Nov. 15 while the January contract also was up 95¢ to $57.83/bbl.

The December natural gas price gained 4¢ to a rounded $2.69/MMbtu on Nov. 15.

Ultralow-sulfur diesel for December edged up 3¢ to a rounded $1.95/gal. The NYMEX reformulated gasoline blendstock for December rose just under 2¢ to a rounded $1.64/gal.

Brent crude for January gained $1/02 to $563.30/bbl. The February contract was up 99¢ to settle at $62.40/bbl.

Gas oil for December gained $6.50 to $587.25/tonne on Nov. 15. The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ basket of crudes on Nov. 15 was $63.12/bbl, up 13¢.
