Crude oil futures prices gained on New York and London markets Nov. 8.
The light, sweet crude contract for December on the New York Mercantile Exchange was up 9¢ to $57.24/bbl on Nov. 8. The January contract was up 11¢ to settle at $57.26/bbl.
Brent crude oil for January was up 22¢ to $62.51/bbl on London’s International Commodity Exchange. The February contract was up 21¢ to $61.62/bbl.
The NYMEX natural gas price for December gained just under 2¢ to a rounded $2.79/MMbtu. The January contract was up 1¢ to $2.87/MMbtu.
Ultralow-sulfur diesel for December decreased less than a penny to remain at a rounded $1.92/gal. The NYMEX reformulated gasoline blendstock for December gained fell less than 1¢ to $1.63/gal.
The gas oil contract for November was $576.50/tonne on Nov. 8, down $6.75.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ basket of crudes for Nov. 8 was $61.98/bbl, down 34¢ from the previous day.
