Job Title: General Utility Worker (includes working in laundry and galley)
Summary: The Utility Worker is responsible for various job assignments from helping in the galley and dining areas to general housekeeping duties. The utility worker’s duties may include assisting the cook with food and dining room preparations, assisting in serving meals, washing dishes or other work in the galley or kitchen, as well as work outside the kitchen. General housekeeping duties include making beds, cleaning latrines, cleaning and buffing floors, collecting rig personnel clothing/bed linens/towels for laundry services, and garbage disposal to name a few.
Job Title: Prep Cook
Summary: The general duties of the Prep Cook include assisting immediate supervisor with meal preparations, including preparing vegetables (fresh and frozen); preparing side dishes; and assisting as necessary, with the salad bar preparations and a variety of fresh salads; menu planning and development; learning meat cutting techniques; and recipe usage. The Prep Cook is also to assist with maintaining galley cleanliness, to include washing pots, pans and dishes as necessary.
Both positions require a TWIC card. Further training will include BOSIET w/CAEBS, Rig Pass, and an offshore physical.
Applicants will need to be able to work rotational schedules offshore.
