TransCanada Corp. is holding a binding open season for expanded capacity at its Nova Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) system’s Empress-McNeill export delivery point. The open season is for an estimated 280 MMcfd of firm service starting November 2021.
This capacity offering follows a successful open season completed January 2018 for 1 bcfd of expansion capacity at the same delivery point beginning between November 2020 and April 2021, underpinning a recently announced $2.4 billion NGTL system expansion (OGJ Online, Feb. 16, 2018).
