KOCH PLANS S. TEXAS OIL LINES

Koch Gathering Systems Inc., Wichita, Kan., plans to increase its delivery capacity in South Texas by laying a 65 mile, 10 in. crude pipeline from Three Rivers, Tex., to Corpus Christi. The 75,000 b/d pipeline, which will ship Pearsall field sweet and sour crude to Corpus Christi refineries, is expected to be complete Apr. 1, 1991. Koch Gathering Systems Inc., Wichita, Kan., plans to increase its delivery capacity in South Texas by laying a 65 mile, 10 in. crude pipeline from Three Rivers, Tex., to Corpus Christi.

The 75,000 b/d pipeline, which will ship Pearsall field sweet and sour crude to Corpus Christi refineries, is expected to be complete Apr. 1, 1991.

In addition, Koch will lay 6 miles of 8 in. line from its South Texas system to Texas New Mexico Pipeline at Rosanky, Tex. The company expects that 30,000 b/d interconnect to be on stream Feb. 1,1991.

Costs and route details of the two projects aren't disclosed.

Koch has also signed an agreement to acquire Sun Co. Inc.'s Ingleside marine terminal and related pipelines in Corpus Christi for an undisclosed price.
