INDIA'S ONGC LETS NEELAM CONTRACT

India's Oil & Natural Gas Commission has let a $560 million contract to South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd. for a production/processing platform complex to be installed in Neelam oil and as field off Bombay. Neelam development is expected to cost $1.4 billion and result in production of 130,000 b/d of oil and 92 MMcfd of gas (OGJ, June 3, 1991, Newsletter).
