Chris Dorros is chief executive officer of Tally Energy Services, a new company backed by private equity specializing in North American shale products and services.
The company, based in Houston, recently acquired Terra Directional Services and Tech-Flo Consulting. Its chairman of the board is Douglas L. Foshee, former chairman, president, and chief executive officer of El Paso Corp., which was merged in 2012 into Kinder Morgan.
Dorros, former executive vice-president of Forum Energy Technologies, Houston, cofounded Sallyport Oilfield Technologies in partnership with Sallyport Investments LLC, of which Foshee is founder and owner.
Tally Energy Services has financial support from Sallyport Investments and RedBird Capital Partners.
