Kearney named president, CEO of Frank’s International

Michael C. Kearney has been tapped to lead Frank’s International NV as president and chief executive officer. He’ll also continue in his current roles as chairman. He succeeds Douglas G. Stephens, who has left the company and to pursue other interests.

Michael C. Kearney has been tapped to lead Frank’s International NV as president and chief executive officer. He’ll also continue in his current roles as chairman. He succeeds Douglas G. Stephens, who has left the company and to pursue other interests.

Kearney was appointed to the company’s supervisory board in 2013 and was lead supervisory director from May 2014 until December 2015, when he was named chairman. He also has served on the audit committee since 2013 and the compensation committee from 2014 until 2016.

Kearney has more than 25 years of experience as an upstream energy executive, principally in the oil services sector. He previously was president and CEO of DeepFlex Inc. from September 2009 until June 2013 after serving as its chief financial officer from January 2008 until September 2009.

He served as executive vice-president and CFO of Tesco Corp. from October 2004 to January 2007. From 1998 until 2004, he was the CFO and vice-president, administration, of Hydril Co.
