Saras names chairman as CEO following Codazzi resignation

Italy's Saras SpA has appointed Massimo Moratti as chief executive officer following the resignation of Matteo Codazzi.

Italy's Saras SpA has appointed Massimo Moratti to the role of chief executive officer following the resignation of Matteo Codazzi Mar. 15, the company said in a release last week.

Codazzi resigned from his post as chief executive, director, and general manager for personal reasons, the company said.

Moratti currently serves as chairman of the board of directors. A member of the family that founded the company in 1962, Moratti previously served as chief executive from 1981 to 2018 before being appointed chairman of the board (OGJ Online, May 3, 2018). He has been a board member of Saras SpA since 1972.

Franco Balsamo, the company’s chief financial officer, has been granted the role of general manager.
