Hurricane Energy PLC has appointed Beverley Smith as interim chief executive officer of the company. Dr. Robert Trice, who has resigned has resigned as chief executive officer and a director, will remain available to assist the company during a transition period of 6 months.
Smith had a 30-year career with BG Group and has been a non-executive director of Hurricane since December 2019.
Richard Chaffe, who has been acting chief financial officer since February, has been confirmed as chief financial officer and an executive director of the company.
