Caprock Midstream acquires residue gas pipeline assets in South Texas

Caprock Midstream II LLC has acquired gas pipeline assets in South Texas.

The company has purchased over 90 miles of 16-in. and 20-in. OD residue gas pipeline in the dry-gas window of the Eagle Ford area, spanning from central Webb County through La Salle, McMullen, and southern Live Oak Counties, Tex., and ultimately delivering to the Transco market, the company said.

Neither the purchase price nor the seller was disclosed.

Caprock Midstream II, a portfolio investment of Energy Spectrum Partners VIII LP, Dallas, also had named Steve Jones to lead the company as chief executive officer. Prior to Caprock, Jones served as co-chief executive officer and chief financial officer of WaterBridge Resources and LandBridge.
