MOL absorbs Eni’s Romanian retail assets

MOL Group, Budapest, has completed the acquisition of Eni Romania, including 42 service stations to be rebranded under the MOL name.

MOL Group, Budapest, has completed the acquisition of Eni Romania, including 42 service stations to be rebranded under the MOL name.

After the sale, MOL will operate about 200 service stations in Romania.

Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed. The Romanian acquisition is part of a deal MOL reached with Eni last May covering the Italian company’s downstream properties in Romania, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic (OGJ Online, May 7, 2014).
