Finder Energy acquired P2502 and P2524 licenses in the UK North Sea from Azinor Catalyst Ltd.

P2502 is on the western edge of East Shetland basin, Northern North Sea, and covers an area of 424 sq km and is 85 km northeast of Shetland islands. The license holds potential in the Upper Jurassic turbidite play with over 1.2 billion boe identified across eleven mapped leads.

P2524 is on the southern flank of South Viking Graben, Central North Sea, and covers an area of 171 sq km and is 250 km northeast of Aberdeen. Barracuda is the leading prospect on the license, targeting the same Upper Jurassic reservoir that hosts the nearby prolific T-Block and Brae complex oil fields. In addition to the Barracuda prospect, the license contains a further three prospects and two small oil and condensate discoveries.

Finder is operator in both licenses. The company holds 100% interest in P2502 and 40% interest in P2524 with Harbour Energy holding the remaining 60%.
