Callon Petroleum Co. has closed on the acquisition of Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. (OGJ Online, July 15, 2019). As previously reported, the Callon senior leadership team will lead the combine. Joseph Gatto, Jr. is president, chief executive officer, and director; James Ulm, II is senior vice-president and chief financial officer; Dr. Jeff Balmer is senior vice-president and chief operating officer; and Michol L. Ecklund, is senior vice-president and general counsel.
Shareholders from both companies voted to approve all proposals necessary for the parties' all-stock transaction at respective special meetings held by each company Dec. 20.
