Norsk Hydro elects new chairman

Norsk Hydro ASA, Oslo, announced that its corporate assembly elected Jan Reinas as the new board chairman, effective Mar. 25.

HOUSTON -- Norsk Hydro ASA, Oslo, announced that its corporate assembly elected Jan Reinas as the new board chairman, effective Mar. 25.

Reinas succeeds Egil Myklebust, who was on Hydro's board for 12 years and was chairman for the last 3 years. Currently, Reinas serves on the boards of media group Schibsted ASA and Swiss International Air Lines.
