Total E&P Senegal let a contract to Shearwater GeoServices Holding AS for 3D acquisition and processing offshore Senegal.
The exploration survey covers 5,000 sq km in the UDO Block exploration area. Data acquisition will be carried out by the SW Empress.
The 2-month survey is scheduled to begin in this year’s fourth quarter.
The contract follows an August contract let to Shearwater by Total for work by the same vessel in North West Africa’s MSGBC basin.
