Murphy Oil executes production sharing contracts offshore Mauritania
Murphy Oil Corp. executed two production sharing contracts covering the C-10 and Tiof blocks offshore Mauritania.
The operator said it plans to evaluate the exploration potential of the blocks, which cover about 3.1 million acres.
Murphy will operate the blocks through subsidiaries with a 90% interest. Société Mauritanienne des Hydrocarbures (SMH) will hold the remaining 10%.
