Enwell Energy PLC tested the SV-25 appraisal well and spudded the SV-29 development well at its Svyrydivske (SV) gas and condensate field in Ukraine.

SV-25 was spudded in July 2020 targeting the B-20, B-22, and B-23 horizons in the Visean formation. It was drilled to 5,320 m final depth. One interval, drilled at a depth of 5,184-5,190 m within the B-22 reservoir, was perforated and tested using a variety of choke sizes. The well has been hooked up to the gas processing facilities for longer-term production testing to optimize operating parameters of the well. Currently, the well is producing at a stabilized flow rate of about 1.9 MMscfd gas and 109 b/d condensate (452 boe/d in aggregate).

SV-29 has been spudded and has a 5,450 m target depth. Drilling operations are scheduled to be completed by end third-quarter 2021. Subject to successful testing, production hook-up is scheduled in fourth-quarter 2021. The well is primarily a development well, targeting production from the B-22 horizon, as well as appraising B-21 and B-23 horizons in the Visean formation.
