Equinor granted permit for Norwegian Sea drilling

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill in production license 124 in the Norwegian Sea.

Exploration well 6507/8-11 S will be drilled by Odfjell Drilling AS’s Deepsea Stavanger semisubmersible drilling rig.

Equinor is operator of the license with 35% interest. Partners are ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS (27.91%), Petoro AS (27.09%), Vår Energi ASA (10%).
