Equinor granted consent for Barents Sea well

Equinor Energy AS has been granted consent by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway to drill an exploration well in the Barents Sea.

Well 7220/8-2 (Snøfonn Nord prospect) will be drilled in 350 m of water by the Transocean Enabler in production license 532.

Equinor is operator with 50% interest. Partners are Vår Energi AS (30%) and Petoro AS (20%).
