OMV (Norge) AS has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) for a North Sea exploration well.
Well 1/3-13—the first exploration well in production license 970—will be drilled from the Maersk Integrator drilling rig about 6 km south of Oselvar field and 25 km south of Ula field. The area in the license consists of part of Block 1/3.
OMV is operator with 60% ownership interest. Partners are Petoro AS (20%) and Neptune Energy Norge AS (20%).
