OMV Norge AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill two wells in production license 817 in the North Sea.
Exploration well 15/2-2 S and appraisal well 15/2-2 A will be drilled by the Deepsea Yantai semisubmersible drilling rig in January and March, respectively.
OMV is operator of the license with 50% interest. Partners are Neptune Energy Norge AS (30%) and Source Energy AS (20%).
