Equinor granted North Sea drilling permit

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.

This month, Equinor expects to begin drilling wellbore 34/8-A-37 H from Visund in production license 120.

Equinor is operator of the license with 53.2% interest. Partners are Petoro AS (30%), ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS (9.1%), and Repsol Norge AS (7.7%).
