Vår Energi granted Barents Sea drilling permit

Vår Energi has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill in the Barents Sea.

Vår Energi AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to drill in production license 1025 S in the Barents Sea.

Wildcat well 7219/6-1 is expected to be drilled by the Transocean Enabler semisubmersible drilling rig sometime in August.

Vår Energi is operator of the license (60%) with partners Petoro AS (20%) and Equinor Energy AS (20%).
