Pipestone to restore Alberta area production in coming days

Pipestone Energy Corp., Calgary, expects to increase Grande Prairie, Alta., production volumes over the coming days back to full productive capacity as efforts of local fire authorities and favorable weather conditions have brought wildfire activity in the area under control.

The company has curtailed about 20,000 boe/d of production due to the precautionary shut-in of certain third-party infrastructure and associated operated producing locations on May 12, 2023, the company said in a May 24 update (OGJ Online, May 15, 2023).

Pipestone is not aware of any significant damage or loss to either its owned or third-party infrastructure.
