INEOS E&P Norge AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill in PL937 in the North Sea.
Wildcat well 6306/3-1 S—the first in the license—will be drilled from the Borgland Dolphin drilling facility about 15 km south of 6406/12-4 S (Boomerang) on Fenja field.
The area in the license consists of parts of Blocks 6306/2 and 6306/3.
INEOS E&P is operator with 85% interest. The other licensee is Lime Petroleum AS (15%).
