The exploration well, the second in the license, will be drilled from the Deepsea Aberdeen drilling facility about 8 km west of Maria field and 200 km north of Kristiansund after it concludes drilling wildcat well 6507/4-2 S for Wintershall Dea in PL 211.
The area in this license consists of parts of Blocks 6406/2 and 6406/3.
Wintershall is operator with 40%. DNO Norge AS holds 30% and Spirit Energy Norway AS holds the remaining 30%.
